Dave Claunch - President
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, David Claunch graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio with a BS in Computer Science. His background in electronic prepress and digital imaging served as the foundation of Claunch Consulting, the precursor to Liaison. Dave has written numerous articles and hardware/software reviews for Publish Magazine and other industry trade publications. He is also Past President of the Austin chapter of the American Advertising Federation (1999-2000), Past President of the Austin chapter of the Printing and Imaging Association (2001), and has served on the regional Board of Directors of the PIA Mid-America. In June of 2002, Dave was voted “Ad Man of the Year” by the Austin Advertising Federation and presented with their Silver Service Award. In 2009, Dave was given the “Volunteer of the Year Award” by the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and selected as “Citizen of the Year” by the Westlake Chamber of Commerce. His interests include volunteering for stuff and getting awards.
Mark Caddell - Director of Operations & Agency Services
Mark contributes to employee communications, training, processes improvements, and general Liaison operations. He is also always on the lookout for companies that might take advantage of Liaison's unique model for utilizing creative talent. Before joining Liaison, Mark received a B.A. degree from Baylor University in Communications and has worked on programs for IBM, Motorola, Computer Sciences Corporation, Silicon Integration Initiative and the City of Austin. Mark has a wonderful wife, Karla, and two great sons, Dakota and Jax.
Mora Eis, PHR - Director of Human Resources
In her youth, Mora convinced her elementary school that she had written the opus “Let's Get Physical” by Olivia Newton John. This ability to channel her creative powers into persuasive mind control, coupled with over ten years of Human Resources experience, led her to the Liaison team. Mora graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI where she received a BA in Writing Intensive English and Elementary Education. After a short stint in teaching, a career change to recruiting and human resources was in order and she has found her niche in HR project management, recruiting and strategy development. Mora loves books, movies, traveling and spending time with her family.
Amy Pedersen - Controller
Amy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Baylor University with a BBA in Finance and Accounting and also holds a CPA certification. Amy joined Liaison in 2000 as Controller, managing and operating the accounting department, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, general ledger and reporting/forecasting. A native Texan from the bustling metropolis of Waco, Amy moved to Austin in 1992 and hasn't considered living anywhere else. Amy has a wonderful family with two little girls whose daily antics keep her on her toes. In her remaining free time, she enjoys reading and watching True Blood and The Vampire Diaries.
Scott Huber - Recruiter
Herding creative cats has encompassed most of Scott illustrious career. He has a broad range of experience working in creative development environments managing design, production, illustration, photo, asset and project management teams. Throughout his career he has thrived on matching ability with opportunity defining it as a great personal RUSH (the name of his favorite band). Scott has also worked in a consulting role with clients like National Geographic School publishing and most recently in Program Management at Dell with industrial designers and usability teams. In his spare time Scott actually herds two cats and two kids, cycles, rides long boards and tries not to get hurt in the above-mentioned activities.
Sam Arnold, PHR - Recruiter
Starting with Liaison in 2006, Sam has been recruiting creative and marketing professionals in all areas of the business, with a particular focus on design, video, and e-marketing. Sam also publishes our newsletters TeamNews and Swoosh and engages at many levels of the HR process. Sam has also been a professional musician in Austin since 2001 and somehow manages to gig and record with several bands. Sam graduated from Kalamazoo College with a BA in Political Science. He is also a geography nerd who loves pretty much every kind of animal.
Jonathan Pecora, PHR - HR Coordinator
In 2004, Jonathan graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Communications. At UT, Jonathan satisfied his love of college sports by marching in the Longhorn Band for 3 years with his final year spent as a Longhorn Hellraiser. Before joining Liaison, Jonathan worked for 7 years in Human Resources at Texas School for the Deaf. Jonathan holds his Professional in Human Resources Management certification, a certificate in conflict mediation, and is also currently pursuing his Master's of Arts in Organization Development at St. Edward's University. In his minimal free time, he coaches and plays on a competitive softball team and enjoys adventures with his Siberian Husky, Rally.
Kristopher Kern - Project Manager, Agency Services
Kris originally joined Liaison in 2004 as a member of a client's on-site creative services team. In 2006 he flew the coop to pursue different opportunities and has since worked in project management, design and print production. After a stint in Los Angeles where he worked for a Hollywood ad agency, Kris returned to Austin in 2012 and re-joined Liaison as part of the Agency Services team. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BS in Advertising and the things he loves most are: his wife Amber and dog Buckley, baseball, music, OSU sports and Wes Anderson movies.
Angela Rockwell - Project Manager, Agency Services
Angela's passion for her work and love of organized chaos makes her a great fit for the Agency Services team. Originally from Wisconsin, moved to Austin in 2009 to escape the snow, cold, and winter chores like shoveling. While in Wisconsin she worked for a mid-large ad agency in the account services department and worked with regional clients including hospitals, insurance companies, and retail companies. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire with a BA in Graphic Design and loves trying new restaurants and hanging out with her husband and dog P-Nut.
Brie Hyde - Project Manager, Agency Services
Brie moved to Austin in 2010, hailing from the great state of Michigan after a four-year stint in motorsports (mostly NASCAR) events, marketing and public relations. After serving as promotions director for a group of radio stations in Austin and taking on various event project management gigs, she joined the Agency Services team putting her knowledge of graphic design and project management skills to work. Brie is a Central Michigan University graduate with a BA in Public Relations. Her interests include completing a never-ending bucket list of Austin eateries, volunteering with Austin Pets Alive!, traveling, cooking and being a new dog mommy.
Tom Richey - Office Manager
Tom was born in San Antonio, spent most of his life on the Gulf Coast in Corpus Christi and moved to Austin as soon as he could. Focusing on his aptitude for administrative work, Tom worked for a decade as an administrative assistant at a local property management company before finding his way to the wonderful world of Liaison. In his spare time, Tommy enjoys riding his bike, spending time with friends and family, concerts and nights out at the discos, zombie movies and video games. A multi-player dancing zombie video game would therefore be his all-time favorite thing.
Julie (JP) Primozich - Regional Manager, Denver Area
JP has extensive experience in creative strategy and development and is also an award-winning print designer, art director and graphic facilitator. She has been a college instructor and an experienced supervisor who has managed effective communications teams in Denver for years. JP combines her strategic, creative, teaching and supervisory experience to deliver stellar creative, advertising and marketing professionals to the Denver area business community.
