    We're looking for the ideal Art Director to play a key role on our pioneering creative team onsite at our Fortune 500 technology client's southwest Austin office. You'd be an integral part of a small collaborative team, providing innovative designs within the existing corporate visual identity. This positions starts out as about 70% tactical corporate design, evolving into a more strategic role as the team grows.

    This position is scheduled to start January 6, 2009.

    In this opportunity, you'll get to:
    - Design and produce a wide variety of innovative and creative solutions for print, multimedia, web advertising, and collateral design;

    - Grasp corporate marketing strategies and wow clients with appropriate creative.

     
    Background & Experience:
    You are confident with your:
    - 6 to 8 years of creative and print management experience;

    - A minimum of 5 years in a lead creative staff positions in one or more ad agencies evident on your resume;

    - Experience in all aspects of the creative, print, and Web process;

    - Degree in advertising, marketing, design, art, or equivalent work experience.

     
    Hard Skills:
    You'll want to make sure you have:
    - Mastery of Adobe Applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash) as well as Quark;

    - MS Office proficiency.

    Digital Asset Specialist

    Location: Austin, Texas

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Liaison is seeking a Digital Asset Specialist for a full-time, ongoing position working onsite at our global high tech corporate client's office in South Austin. If you have the mind of a librarian with an interest in corporate high-tech creative work, this could be a great fit.

    This entry level position is scheduled to start January 6, 2009.

    In this job:
    - You'll organize and maintain the folders/structure of our Design team's share drive where active and recent creative digital work (photos, salesheets, web templates, AKA "assets") is housed;
    - You'll be responsible for moving completed project assets off the share drive, loading those assets into our master Digital Asset Management system, entering applicable meta data, and establishing parent/child links between related assets;
    - You'll also track, identify and remove expired assets from the DAM system and work with internal teams and agency partners to have expired images removed from active web sites.
    - Actively maintain the work portfolio on intranet site.

     
    Background & Experience:
    - Experience with web-based content management or digital asset management systems a big plus;

    - Experience in digital photography or graphic design production is a big plus, but is not solely sufficient experience; candidates with background in digital imaging must also have experience organizing large numbers of digital images in a content management environment.

     
    Hard Skills:
    - Extensive knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet fundamentals.
    - Familiarity with web design terminology, media formats and associated software tools is required;
    - Understanding of database management systems a plus, specifically Microsoft SharePoint 2003 and MOSS Collaboration and/or Artesia Digital Asset Manager.

     
    Soft Skills:
    - Must be self-motivated, able to act independently and take ownership of task completion;

    - Must be VERY detail-oriented and able to perform intricate tasks with consistent quality;

    - Must be able to multitask.

    Retail Point-of-Sale Manager

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Liaison is looking for a Retail POS Manager. This is a full-time, ongoing salaried Liaison position on our marketing team working onsite at a global computer manufacturing company in Round Rock.

    Mission: Own and manage relationship with all POS partners and drive sales across all segments.

    Core deliverables:

    - Quarterly peripheral metrics and forecast;

    - SKU management;

    - Revenue generation support plans


    Functional responsibilities:

    - Promote and support POS partner products across all sales segments;

    - Engage in sales support activities as required to drive peripheral sales including sales tools, product fairs etc;

    - Develop and lead product training programs for POS sales reps;

    - Manage peripheral product messaging to ensure accurate representation of the peripheral products in all communications vehicles;

    - Respond to sales requests, new SKU's, and custom pricing;

    - SKU management;

    - Activation, pricing, and product descriptions by interfacing with internal support groups and Sales;

    - Collect and distribute partner product roadmaps;

    - Manage product transitions and identify product replacement strategy;

    - Product Launch: All launch activities around new products, 911 messaging, sales training, demo events, learn more pages;

    - Provide technical support including the certification process;

    - Develop and maintain competitive guide for peripheral products;

    - Manage supply, lead times and forecast of 3rd party products;

    - Resolve day-to-day issues including sku/online issues, product supply and lead times;

    - Monitor and address peripheral price changes;

    - Manage relationship with peripheral vendors & hold quarterly reviews.

     
    Background & Experience:
    - Must have at least 3 years experience in a corporate high tech environment working in a marketing or sales operations support role.

    Senior Visual Interactive Designer

    In this job, you'll:
    - Perform Visual and Interactive Design, Graphic Design and production, and HTML coding;
    - Create prototypes/wire frames/storyboards and design concepts for new pages, sites and interactive media pieces;
    - Incorporate current branding and visual design specifications across all design media; - Participate in creative input sessions and team meetings with business sponsors, Web Strategists and Project Managers, and Technical Development team.
    - Prepare design estimates, present concepts, and track reviews with internal corporate clients.

     
    Background & Experience:
    - A minimum of 5 years in interactive design with a focus on usability evident on your resume;

    - A minimum of 2-3 years of your recent experience should be in an ad agency or corporate creative team environment.

     
    Hard Skills:

    UX Designer

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Liaison is looking for a qualified User Experience Designer to work at software client in downtown Austin. The UX Designer will be responsible for all user experience elements of client's sites. If you enjoy technical work in a creative, social environment then this is the job for you!
    -Work with developers, account managers, technical managers to create designs for client sites that adhere to brand guidelines and business objectives;
    -Justify design proposals;
    -Communicate and collaborate professionally and effectively with team members and management;
    Assist product manager, senior UX designer and engineering team with designs for new product features;
    -Produce graphics and imagery for content and promotional production.

     
    Background & Experience:
