Copywriter (1099 contract)

Duties & Responsibilities:
Liaison has an opportunity for an Austin-based freelance copywriter to help shape the next iteration of our flagship website (yes, the one you're looking at now). As an experienced web copywriter, you'll work closely with senior leadership to help craft content, interview stakeholders, and help refine the message. Your experience working closely with clients and delivering multiple iterations will serve you well in this critical project role.

This project starts in early January, and may develop into smaller ongoing projects as needed, but is not likely to turn into full-time employment at any point. We're looking for an experienced dedicated freelancer.

 
Background & Experience:
- Eight plus years in dedicated copywriting roles, including Ad Agencies and B2B client work;
- Strong and extensive recent web copywriting experience;
- Be sure you include a link to your site including samples of work for Ad Agencies;
- B2B Services marketing copywriting experience is critical;
- High tech background a plus.

 
Hard Skills:
- Copywriting and editing skill;
- Some background in user experience best-practices is a plus.

 
Soft Skills:
- As a dedicated freelancer, you're at home working directly with clients to make a vision reality.
 
Details:
This is a Freelance, sub-contracted project. You will be paid as a 1099 contractor and you will be responsible for your work product, employment taxes and insurance. Events Coordinator (3-6 yrs, Round Rock)

Duties & Responsibilities:
Liaison has a full-time career opportunity for an experienced Events Coordinator to join our team in Round Rock serving our high-tech corporate client. In this key role, you'll collaborate on planning and execution for custom and industry events, including partner advisory councils, regional and national trade shows, company industry events and sales road shows.

This is a full-time, full-benefits Liaison employee position, with a handshake commitment to an initial nine months before possible conversion or extension.

Some specific responsibilities:
- Managing all events from conception to execution;
- Providing strategic counsel and event management assistance to internal business stakeholders (including top executives);
- Ensuring that events and programs align/integrate with corporate and channel goals.

 
Background & Experience:
- Three to six years in dedicated Events Coordination roles, including some high-tech;
- Your experience includes some combination of customer and/or partner events, sales events, incentive events, large conferences (2000+) and tradeshows on global scale.

Marketing Coordinator (3-5 years, downtown Austin)

Liaison has a full-time career opportunity for at Marketing Coordinator with an especially detailed and analytical approach to join our downtown Austin client in the healthcare technology field. You'll join a small and growing firm as a key support player within a close-knit marketing team. For someone with three to five years marketing coordination experience, this opportunity provides career growth and a chance to collaborate and exert influence within the marketing team over the long-term.

This full-time (roughly 40-hours a week onsite) ongoing opportunity will start in early January as Liaison employee position (benefits begin after 30 days), eventually moving to client-side employment.

Some specific activities include:
- Daily tactical execution of B2B marketing outreach campaigns, reporting, and analytics;
-Responsible for driving demand at the top of the funnel via outbound marketing campaigns including cCoordination and optimization of existing direct mail programm;
- Develop and implement direct mail testing strategy to improve conversion rates
- Track ROI on marketing efforts and make recommendations based on findings
- Work closely with sales, engineering and other internal teams to optimize campaigns and produce better quality leads

Marketing Program Manager (Global Events, 8-10 yrs, Round Rock)

Liaison has an ongoing full-time employee opportunity for a Program Manager with eight to ten years corporate experience to support our client's Commercial Events marketing team to lead the planning and development at major global events for the commercial segment, press, partners, and internal stakeholders. This is not an events management position, but you'll draw heavily upon your experience with events on the marcom/strategy side.

You'll join our primarily events-focused team at our client site, a corporate high-tech client located in Round Rock. Some specific activities include:
